MEYPAR, awarded at the 27th edition of PIMEC Pimes Awards
Meypar has been awarded as the most competitive small company within Pimes Awards 2014 given by PIMEC. The 27th edition of the awards was held at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya (Conference Center of Catalonia) in Barcelona, in the framework of the annual dinner of the employers’ organization, and with a joint liability. The President of the Catalan government, Artur Mas, attended the event. The Pimes Awards were born in 1987, in order to recognize Catalan organizations and SMEs in different sectors, for the contribution they make to the economic and social development in Catalonia. In the current edition, Meypar has won the award in the category of the most competitive small business thanks to its hardware and software solutions for the management and operation of car parks, parking meters and pay stations for automatic road tolls. The Pimes Awards 2014 had 74 candidates, from 63 companies, figures that exceed those obtained in previous years. A jury of personalities from the political, financial, economic and journalistic world decided which companies should be awarded according to business criteria within each category.
