Oliva Torras Railway offers comprehensive solutions for train interiors, covering all the project phases, from design and engineering to the delivery of complete subassemblies and assistance to the final assembly at the customers’ facilities.

ENGINEERING EXPERTS

The engineering team is able to manage large development projects, working together with the customer’s technical departments, proposing concepts, using materials such as composites, aluminium and steel, and defining specific production processes. This specialisation, in addition to Oliva Torras’ mechanical engineering knowledge, means that the team is capable of proposing solutions for any component in the vehicle interior scope, this is, ceilings, window masks, door pillars, luggage racks, handrails, draught screens, sidewall panels and end walls.

Oliva Torras Industrial has cells specialised in these projects, equipped with the technology required for metal manufacturing, machining, welding (EN 15085-2), gluing, painting and assembly processes. All these processes are audited and approved by the constructors. At the same time, complementing the interior scope, Oliva Torras is also able to manufacture other metal-based subassemblies, such as mechanic-welded structures for traction converters and HVAC units, always in line with the high demanding standards of the railway industry.
